What is the purpose of the TVRGCP?
To prepare the region for the impact on infrastructure and services associated with BRAC 2005 at Redstone Arsenal.
Where did the funding come from to develop the TVRGCP?
The U.S. Department of Defense, Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA) provided the funding to the Madison County Commission for this project.

Who will develop the TVRGCP?
Following a nationwide competition, the Madison County Commission awarded a $650,000 contract to the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County to complete the scope of work. The Chamber has hired a full-time OEA grant director, Doris Riccelli, to coordinate the project. A world-class team of four consultants from Connecticut, Louisiana, New Jersey and Tennessee has been sub-contracted to provide services in their respective professional fields. The TVRGCP will be written based on input from regional community representatives.
What parts of the region will be included in the TVRGCP?
Madison, Morgan and Limestone counties in Alabama will be the primary study area for this project. However, a regional visioning process (Task 2) will encompass a broader impact region expanding to Jackson County, Marshall County, Cullman County, and The Shoals in Alabama, and Lincoln, Giles, Franklin and Lawrence counties in Tennessee

- A regional vision and strategic plan to address identified critical issues relative to growth from BRAC 2005.

- A point of contact between Redstone Arsenal, cities, counties, the State of Alabama, and federal agencies.
- Enhanced regional communication.
- Identification of other studies, projects and/or activities needed to address growth from BRAC 2005.
