Background

The Madison County Commission (MCC) solicited a consultant for the development of the Tennessee Valley Regional Growth Coordination Plan (TVRGCP). Funding for this project is provided by the U.S. Department of Defense, Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA) to prepare the region for the impact on infrastructure and services associated with the 2005 BRAC action at Redstone Arsenal.

The Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County (Chamber) submitted the proposal for consulting services in response to MCC’s search for a consultant as addressed in its RFP P-2007-01 (Tennessee Valley Regional Growth Coordination Plan). The proposal was submitted by the Chamber, serving as the lead consultant, with Wadley-Donovan GrowthTech, LLC (WDG) serving as a subcontractor. Together, the Chamber and WDG offer MCC a team with the capabilities, knowledge and background to get the needed job done with the greatest efficiency, effectiveness and value.
